I woke up at 9:15 today.
Fatigue, numbness and tingling, spasms, nausea and neck pain quickly set in.
I made it downstairs for coffee and my morning routine.
It didn’t take long to realize my body was going to fight me today.
I went back to bed from 10:30 - 1:45.
Woke up in the same position I fell asleep in supporting a full handprint on my left cheek.
I’m thankful for that sleep.
I woke up feeling quite a bit better.
Days like today frustrate me because my plans were much more fun, a day with Momma.
Once again plans fell through because of my illness.
I’m annoyed because feeling better meant not keeping down my liquid lunch.
I know that the nap in my day interfered with my routine and now I will have to play catch up to avoid a bad tomorrow.
Days like today are gross.
I don’t like days like today.
But I do like this quote; it helps me through days like these.
“When I am resting on a flare day, I need to remember that I am not wasting the entire day doing nothing. I am doing exactly what I need to do. I am recovering.”
Remember, "Count your Rainbows, not your Thunderstorms!"
