Ready for the greatest taco seasoning recipe ever?
I heard a resounding yes! 😉
Okay, let's chitty chat chat about those lovely packets you can buy at the grocery store.
The majority of them have funky ingredients in them that just aren't natural.
& as long as you have these spices at home (which are very common spices I might add) it takes less time than going to the store and buying the dang packets.
No questionable ingredients + no trip to the grocery store.
You're welcome!
Making taco seasoning at home is the only way to do it guys.
All of these spices can be adjusted to meet your flavor preference too.

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a ball jar, put a lid on it and shake to mix.
These amounts will be enough for 2# of meat, or 1# if you really like spices. Enjoy!
NOTES
If you are going for more of a fajita story, omit the black pepper and oregano.
I only use 1/4 teaspoon pepper simply because it isn't my favorite flavor. Do it up!
Want a kick? Add 1/8 -1/4 teaspoon cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes.
I always make a large batch and store it in an old spice jar so its ready to go whenever I need it.
Hope you all are having a happy day!
