Back with the snacks today.
This time I'm hitting you with a super easy one.
Like, really easy.
You can also choose so many ingredients substitutions.
But I'll start with the base recipe.
Side note: do you know how hard it was to photograph these and make them look cute. 🫠

PRITABLE RECIPE FILE
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups natural runny peanut butter
3/4 (or 3 scoops) collagen or protein powder of your choice, I love using Rootz Nutrition vanilla collagen for this recipe
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup almond flour + *see notes*
4 ounces chocolate, we love Hu Kitchen baking gems
sprinkle of Maldon sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Line an 8x5 baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, collagen, maple syrup and salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Press into the parchment lined baking dish as evenly as you can.
Melt four ounces of chocolate and pour over the peanut butter mixture evenly coating it.
Sprinkle with Maldon sea salt, refrigerate for one hour, slice into snack size pieces and ENJOY!
NOTES
Make sure you line your dish with parchment. It will allow you to lift the bars out easily.
I like to fold the parchment paper under so when I lift it out of the pan, I can unfold those pieces as well.
All peanut butter is slightly different. Start with 1/4 cup almond flour and add more if you need. You want the kind of consistency that does not stick to your fingers when pressing.
Hope you all are having a happy day!
