Here to talk about my favorite things again!
Let’s hit it.
1. SLOW CARDIO
My body goes through these periods of time where it wants to work out hard and then wants to back off. I was really pumping some iron (ha, yeah right) up until about two weeks ago. Not sure if it was the change in weather or what, but my body was like. Ooooppp slow up, honey. Time to slow down, rest and recover those muscles. I’m pretty good about listening to my body and what it wants and doesn’t want to do so I listened. I am currently doing 40 minute sessions on my elliptical. Nice and slowly. & I am thoroughly enjoying myself in my workouts. I know in a few weeks my muscles will start aching and request some lifting be added back in, but for now I’m enjoying my workouts. & that’s where it’s at folks!
ENJOY YOUR WORKOUT.
2. THESE SHOES!!
They are by the brand Dolce Vita and are the Paily Heels in the color Espresso Stella.
Um, excuse me. Are these just not the cutest things you’ve ever seen?
& what’s even better...they are the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever put on in my life.
Like, I wore them for 7 hours straight (only sitting down for dinner) and I felt absolutely no need to take them off when I got home.
None. Zilch. Nada.
I want to buy them in every color now.
If you are looking for a pair of heels that are easy to walk in and won’t kill your feet buy these! They are unreal!
Note : I ordered them in my usual size a 7.5 and had to size up to an 8.
3. ESSIE NAIL POLISH IN COLD BREW CREW
How good is this color?
I’m loving this color for fall so much!
That’s it, really. Nothing spectacular about the formula. I mean, it paints on evenly and smooth.
But it's really just about the color this time. 🤎

4. MY TRIP TO NORTH CAROLINA
An absolute favorite of not only the month but the year.
If you are interested in seeing more of our shenanigans and what we got up to while I was there, check out this blogpost; North Carolina - September 2021.
Anyway, I can’t stress enough how incredible spending time with your gal pals is. Make time for one another. Enjoy it.
I have been feeling so refreshed since I’ve been home. It is exactly what my soul needed. My creative side showed back up, my confidence showed back up, my cup is full.
5. CUP OF CALM BY TRADITIONAL MEDICINALS
Ok, i’m NOT a lavender girl. It makes me sneeze, makes me itch. Repulses me, really.
But I picked up this lavender and mint tea this month because our local Walmart was out of just plain ole peppermint.
& I have to say, I am thoroughly enjoying it.
The lavender is minimal or I’m just growing out of my diversion.
Whatever it is, get yourself some. I usually only drink tea in the mornings, but a few times this past week I have picked this one up and enjoyed it in the evening. Honestly may be due to the fact that my gut hasn’t been super happy, but regardless she has been good.
6. THESE DRESSES
Okay. I’m so into fashion right now.
Fashion has reentered my vocabulary.
I took a LONG break from her. Was slightly interested, but not fully in.
But i’m back baby.
I WANT ALL THE CLOTHES.
It doesn’t help that fall has arrived and it is hands down my favorite season to dress for.
Anyway, these two dresses are it. (also, wedding season is F.U.N.)
I wore this one at a Garden Center wedding. How fun!
Had myself a little photo shoot while at Culvers in this dress. Because how could I not?
This dress, that garden center.
Unreal.
Also…greenhouse weddings are way cool.
& the second dress I wore to a wedding on a beautiful hill overlooking an old winery and pond.
It's equally as lovely, but I only managed to get this one photo in it full body.
Also, look at my feet...the beautiful, comfortable shoes I mentioned above.
I snagged this one of Keith and I upon arrival too.
Can't really see the dress. But we are real cute!
That's it for today, dudettes.
Hit me with your favorite thing(s) from the month of September in the comments below.
